Just done giving this skill a try...
If you ever want daze effect... go for concussion shot... This skill does not have instant attack, instead it would go with your attack animation sequence... that means the moment you press skull crack, skull crack will not activate until your next attack.
To catch someone...
a. he/she is casting something 2+ sec spell
b. you are really good at predicting their next spell
c. use it with arcane condrum
I would rate this skill same as mind freeze... Not worth the elite.

Skull Crack does not need to be instant, the point of it is the dazing, not the interrupt inherent with daze. Daze means triple casting times, and every attack interrupts, for fifteen seconds. It may not be worth an elite, but it is surely better than you make it out to be.

It will only apply dazed if you interrupt a spell. So it does need to be instant or very fast to be effective.

I wish it said...
"If this attack hits, it interrupts the target foes action. If target foe is casting a spell, that foe is Dazed for 15 seconds."
It would be a little more worth the use.

Avoid Skull Crack -- a simple Mend Ailment will remove the condition -- add in the high adrenaline cost and we've got a duffer
The Axe skill -- Disrupting Chop is better

horrible elite.
If this is to be an elite it should atleast have an unconditional daze.
Or keep the interrupt parameter but change it to a nonelite and drop the addren down to 8.

Skull Crack is useless in its current form. There is nothing else that needs to be said. True, conditions are easy to spread, but a single martyr voids all the work you did to spread and apply those conditions. Hexes are a much more solid way of accomplishing things. Condition spike is not an option for PvP, and the only way this skill will ever get any use is if it becomes a 6 or so adren interrupt + daze.

Or make it a non-elite and keep the skill as is.

finally worth as an elite. Now it's a real disrupting skill like Distracting Blow. Maybe Assassins could use it instead of Temple Strike

10 seconds daze sucks ass... IMO it was much better before, I had no troubles at all interupting/Dazing enemies.

10 seconds daze is more than with temple strike. And at least assassins can use the silencing upgrade^^

If you can't kill a monk who is dazed for 10 seconds, something is wrong. And I can't see anyone consistently dazing a good monk with the old version of Skull Crack.
Now it's worth considering. Though likely only on a sword war.

I use this skill in RA and monks are in a sticky situation when I use it. Also they usually can't pull of a mend ailment on themselves. If you use this skill mroe often you'll see that it's powerful.

You can quickly cover it with bleed, cripple, even deep wound. If he does not have Restore conditions (or in TA+ someone cures him), he will definetelly have hard time removing it. It will probably be fatal. Anyway it is a tricky skill to use.

90% of Monks in RA are Boon-prots. And they just giggle as they Contemplate your Elite off.
